Taylor Anderson represented a California-based architectural photographer with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in photographing houses, hotels, restaurants, and commercial buildings and his clients include interior designers, architects, magazines, landscape architects, contractors, and real estate companies.
The plaintiffs, a husband and wife, claimed that the wife slipped and fell in her home on a piece of equipment left behind by the photographer when he photographed their home in preparation for its real estate listing. Taylor Anderson lawyers argued that the piece of equipment did not cause the plaintiff’s fall. The plaintiffs’ last pre-trial settlement demand was $800,000.
After a 10-day jury trial, the jury delivered a unanimous verdict for the defense. Additionally, since Taylor Anderson had previously served a CCP 998 Offer to Compromise, which was rejected by plaintiffs, plaintiffs had to pay the client’s costs.
