The Adams County Housing Authority (ACHA) is a government entity in the Denver metro area which provides low cost housing, financial education, and home ownership counseling to families in need.
The plaintiff, a tenant of an apartment complex that fell under the ACHA’s umbrella, claimed that he fell after a stair broke under his foot, causing several injuries including multiple rotator cuff tears to his right rotator cuff.
Taylor Anderson lawyers drafted a motion to dismiss, arguing that plaintiff failed to comply with Colorado’s Governmental Immunity Act. Following the successful motion to dismiss, the Taylor Anderson team also sought and were awarded attorney fees and costs.
