Michael defends clients in personal injury, business litigation, and general civil litigation matters.  At Taylor Anderson he has gained extensive experience defending clients such as school districts, religious organizations, nonprofits, transportation/logistics companies, and hospitality venues against a wide breadth of claims ranging from slip-and-falls to catastrophic or fatal injuries.  His experience includes the handling of cases from inception through trial.

Prior to joining Taylor Anderson, Michael litigated antitrust and securities cases involving hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of liability for alleged Ponzi schemes and price fixing, during which time he oversaw all aspects of discovery, from interrogatories and requests for production to document review, witness interviews and depositions.  During law school, he externed at the Sierra Club and California Coastal Commission, and completed a fellowship at the Oakland City Attorney’s Office.
