After spending the first half of his career litigating cases, Mike spent ten years as an advocate and lobbyist in Washington, D.C., giving him a unique perspective on law and policy. Mike now focuses on complex trial and appellate issues.
Before going to Washington, Mike was a regular speaker at Texas Bar CLE Programs.
Mike resides in Dallas, Texas, where he remains heavily involved in case strategy and trial preparation.

Mike focuses his practice on preparing and trying civil cases, with a specialty in tort and insurance-related matters.
He has tried over 150 cases to jury verdicts in State and Federal courts. Mike has argued at the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and has been involved in several Texas cases that retain precedential value today.
In addition to providing testimony on business issues in the United States Congress, Mike has appeared on the Dias as a speaker at the United States Chamber of Commerce.
